What is RSS?

RSS is a technology for delivering regularly updated web content, like news headlines and blog posts.

To receive and read an RSS feed you need an RSS reader.

Modern browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari have a built-in RSS reader, just like some e-mail programs like Outlook and Thunderbird.

A variety of dedicated RSS readers are also available, either as a web service or as a downloadable application.
